DOUBLE PLANKING (Partner workout)
Kumbhakasana (कुमभकअसना)
A fun workout thats Benefitting both the partners equally as planks are one of the whole body functional training workout and a variation of a yoga kumbhakasana as well.
It tones abdominal and obliques muscles while strengthening the arms and the spine.
Holding this asana for long will build your core stronger and stronger and I believe whilst working on your body its working on your minds as well; guess we are learning more and more patience with this, working on our endurance as well.
Single plank and double plank both are fun in their own amazing ways. Double planking is also a part of acro yoga and in my sight you’ll enjoy it to the tee as both you and your partner are getting your bit of workout, motivating each other on the go as in one partner will help another to achieve his/her goals and while pushing each other you both can try so many new variations for the same.
Try planking everyday to see and feel the change yourself.
I plank (single elbow plank with variations) everyday without failure for 3 mins and then simple arm plank (with variations) for another 3 mins though i can push myself further more if i want to but I believe in going slow and smooth while understanding my body’s behaviour well on the go.
A plank a day keeps the fat away and muscles and strength closer. ???

Ps: Beginners can start with single planking 10 secs per day or if you wanna push those fences then try 3 sets of 10 secs each with 2-5secs break in between.
Progressively, you can increase the timings frm 10 to 20 secs then 30 secs then after a few days once your body is comfortable with 30 secs then try reaching out for 1 min plank workout daily.
In the first picture, that i have shared here, i am double-planking with a delhi based Master trainer and a dear friend Sheenu Arora and in the second picture that i have shared, is my Acro Trainer and a dear friend Pradeep , a person who is ofcourse way more heavier than me but trust me it was so much more than fun than challenging.
