Lets read it out…
Hi, let me share my story of shedding those few extra Kilos. I had a work profile change and in one year I had gained 10 Kgs and I was 85 Kgs. Not alarming though considering the fact that I am 6 feet tall. However I was not happy with that extra baggage. So one fine day I decided to lose it. I went about it the way I plan my work. First analysis as to why it happened? After thorough analysis I shortlisted following reasons :
1. Not moving at all during my 12 hrs working.
2. Eating junk food around 10 am everyday.
3. Having 6 cups of tea everyday with two Spoons sugar each.
4. Heavy dinner post 9 pm.
5. Sleeping late.
6. Less water intake.
So I knew the reason so now it was time to correct. I wanted to keep the process as simple as possible else I won’t be able to follow it. So I divided it into two parts.
Part I : It included diet control. I didn’t do anything to my breakfast and lunch. They remained heavy. I stopped tea completely and along went 12 Spoons of sugar per day. I stopped that junk food at 10 am and started having an apple at that time. Very light dinner at 1830 and sleep early. And ya lots of water.
Part II: Physical activity. I didn’t want this to be a special event of the day. So I amalgamated this activity to my entire days routine. I set few targets for myself.
1. Walk whenever possible.
2. Climb 10 floors every day at work. My office being at first floor helped me.
3. Cycle 10 km minimum every day.
4. After cycling simple excercise for 5 mins. Ya just five mins. ( Stomach excercises and plank) But I made sure that my stomach would burn at the end of those five mins.
That’s it. This routine made me lose 10 Kilos in 1.5 months. I could fit back into 32 inch jeans.
PS: Had support of my lovely wife who made sprouts and salads and other low fat dinner for me everyday at 1830. And also gave me tips on how to correctly do the exercise.
